Jericho comedy is a comedy night that runs on Saturdays downstairs at the Jericho cafe. Jericho Comedy was named one of Culture Calling's top 5 comedy venues in the UK in February 2018.

We pride ourselves on being one of the more alternative nights in Oxford, with some of the UKs most exciting comics. We use Jericho Comedy to help fundraise for the Mental Health Charity Mind. It's a cause important to many comedian's, and hence we're lucky to get some great acts coming along to support the cause. Providing you with a great night of laughs for a great cause. Between 2017 and 2018 we have raised a total of £8,700 bringing our total to £11,700.

Jericho Comedy is my favourite night out in Oxford. Small room, friendly regulars, no stag parties; and an impressively high standard of acts, often including some of the bigger names on their way up. None of the audience humiliation you might have heard stories of from less salubrious venues - those kind of acts just don't get booked here. Ludicrously cheap to get in, as well.

the best comedy you can find in Oxford. I've seen some big names here in the packed small room, doing those kind of special shows you only get when you're 15 feet from the comedian. Solid bet for a date night or just going out with friends, hilarious and highly recommended.

I've been to Jericho Comedy a number of times, and there's a great variety of different comedians and different styles on show. The Jericho Café is a great venue for comedy - really intimate. Nice selection of drinks, too! A really fun evening in Oxford - if you have the chance to go, you absolutely should!

Promises a lot and does not disappoint. Clever without being condescending, self-conscious without being up itself and most importantly very, very funny. I would highly recommend Jericho Comedy.

Jericho Comedy is my favourite night in Oxford and I try to go to every event. The quality of the performers is consistently high and the MCs do a really good job of making sure everyone feels welcome. Unlike other comedy nights I've been to it is a friendly and inclusive night. An added bonus is that all the money raised goes to the mental health charity Mind so not only will you have a great night you contribute to a good cause.

Without a doubt, Jericho Comedy nights are one of the most exciting little discoveries I made this year. It is a brilliant way to have a really cheap, but lovely evening with friends

Having seen a number of Jericho Comedy nights, I can wholeheartedly recommend them. Whether it's a big name or a newcomer, the comedy is always well worked and a much better alternative to grotty comedy clubs.

This comedy night was exactly what a night like this should be, yes some acts were better than others but the whole evening was fun from start to finish. well done to all involved.

"An engaging and entertaining pairing of learning and good humour!"
